IPTV universe

Our IPTV Universe is a global interactive communication and content platform (CIC-platform), capable of supporting TV, internet and multimedia applications. It manages and provides common and personalized information services from any internal or external source. This integrated platform is suitable for PC and television applications.

IPTV universe has been created considering communication needs within a single closed LAN like in hotels, schools, universities, hospitals, retirement homes…

It consists of different modules and allows administrators to create and manage different IPTV services.
Furthermore IPTV universe has an open architecture which allows us to customize each local IPTV system in accordance with the requirements of the users.

The platform combines:

  • innovative state of the art software
  • devices for satellite, terrestrial, audio-video reception
  • internal or external content
  • other sources according to the customer’s requirements

IPTV Local System (Network Provider Domain) is the domain connecting customers to platform and service providers, within a closed network. This domain consists of a single terminal or a network of devices. It’s managed by the ‘Local System Manager’ or the ‘Local Portal Administrator’ e.g. the hotel receptionist, the ICT staff ... The middleware platform consists of two parts: the IPTV portal (frontend) and the IPTV admin (backend).

IPTV Portal (Consumer Domain) is the local domain where all the different services can be consulted. This domain consists of a single terminal or a network of devices. It’s managed by the ‘Local System Manager’ or the ‘Local Portal Administrator’ e.g. the hotel receptionist, the ICT staff,...

IPTV Admin (Administrator Domain) is the backend of the middleware platform. This domain is used by the IPTV System Administrator and other personnel, to configure and manage the whole system. System configuration is usually done by the system administrator, while customer management can be done by other personnel.
